The "Head of Amorgos" is one of the most iconic examples of Cycladic sculpture.
Early Cycladic II period (ca. 2700–2300 BCE).
It is distinguished by its abstract style, clean lines, and geometric facial rendering.
The original is housed in the National Archaeological Museum of Athens and is considered a forerunner of modernism, inspiring artists like Brancusi and Picasso.
