A hand-crafted ceramic prochous inspired by Minoan pottery of the Late Minoan IB period (1500–1450 BC).
Its decoration follows the ‘Combined Spirals’ style known from finds at Palaikastro, Crete , a flowing, plant-based spiral motif that characterizes the elegance of Minoan ceramic design.
The prochous was used in antiquity for pouring liquids and stands among the most distinctive Minoan vessel shapes. This replica faithfully reflects the proportion, style and surface decoration of the original archaeological examples
